Captain Doodlemoustache
CharacterSculptingGame ArtConcept-to-asset
Character development from concept sketch through sculpt to game-ready asset — a small pirate captain with a big moustache.
The story
Taking a character from a concept sketch to a game-ready sculpt is where technical and artistic instincts meet in the middle. Captain Doodlemoustache was a small side project — a proper pirate captain with a proper pirate moustache — developed end-to-end from sketch through high-poly sculpt to low-poly game asset.
Technical highlights
- Concept fidelity preserved across every step of the pipeline.
- Silhouette-first approach so the character reads from a distance.
- Game-ready topology and texture budget at the end.
