Magic Media — Technical Art years
Studio: Magic Media
A long Magic Media chapter as Lead / Senior Technical Artist — technical art delivery, client-facing scoping, reviews, mentoring, and production support across co-development and white-label work.
The story
The Magic Media years were a long senior technical art chapter inside a fast-moving outsourcing and co-development environment. The work was less about a single public credit and more about becoming reliable across many productions at once: reading ambiguous briefs, identifying technical risk, supporting artists, reviewing deliverables, and keeping the craft stable under deadline pressure.
The specifics of many client relationships are covered by white-label agreements, but the shape of the work was consistent: technical art contributions on AAA and AA games across Unity and Unreal, including shaders, VFX, rendering tuning, pipeline tooling, optimization, and technical reviews delivered as part of another team’s production.
The gallery uses public Steam material as visual anchors for the period: Remnant 2, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, UFO ROBOT GRENDIZER - The Feast of the Wolves, Destroy All Humans! 2 - Reprobed, SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, and Enotria: The Last Song. I keep the breakdown here intentionally broad because the value of this page is the technical art delivery pattern, not private client-by-client task disclosure.
